1. WANT TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

How can you take Christ into your life?

Three steps which may help you on the way to becoming a Christian

(a) Recognise that you’re a sinner and there’s nothing you can do about it.

‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God’ Romans 3:23

Jesus is the standard that God’s set for each of us.

(b) Turn to God.

‘Christ himself bore our sins in His body on a cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. His wounds have healed you.’ 1 Peter 2:24

God requires from us the honesty to admit that we’ve morally and spiritually failed. But we come to Jesus as we are.

(c) Commit yourself to God. This is not a ritual but if it helps repeat this guidline prayer,

'Jesus Christ, I believe and trust you, I believe you died for me. I give you all my sin and guilt. Thank you for forgiving me, I open my heart and mind to you. Come in now as my King and Savior, and take
charge of my life. Thank you, Amen'
