End of the world? Yes! But not in 2021.

Your simple guide to the complete and final destruction of the world.

Some Christian conspiracy theorists predict the end of the world  in 2021.  https://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/812345/APOCALYPSE-End-of-the-world-Jesus-christ-return

Luckily for us the theorists are wrong. Civilisation will not be destroyed in 2021. How do I know?

The theorists are making predictions from their own imaginations and not the very word of God.  So the world will still be spinning in all its glory in 2021.

However, the Bible is clear that the world as we know it will not continue forever. People will have their own ideas about the final apocalypse. funny-this-is-how-i-imagine-the-end-of-the-world-01You might disagree with the picture insert and see the world ending in a completely different way. You might think the world will end because of an Asteroid impact? Global epidemic? Solar flayers from the sun incinerating our planet? Global war? Alien invasion?

Unfortunately the Bible reveals the end of the world is far more dramatic with a combination of some of the aforementioned. The world will end with a divine intervention of unimaginable proportions.

There will be no period of history to compare with the end of the world. Jeremiah 30:7 Daniel 12:1 Mathew 24:21-22.

Ok, lets do this, as we approach the climax of history there will be,

Fearful heavenly signs and disturbances Luke 21:25 Revelation 6:12-14 and 8:12.

Universal tidal waves and ocean disasters Luke 21:25
Revelation 8: 8-9, and 16:23

This however is not the end. Events will go from bad to worse

All these prophecies foretell of the 'Great Tribulation'.

And so, what happens to the Christian believer?

Well, I’ve already had one amazing direct encounter with Jesus Christ. Find out more https://wp.me/P9kkri-jN  my passion story.

Since my first encounter I’m aware that God’s with me everyday through His providence and the presence of the Holy Spirit. However I’m bracing my self for a second encounter with Christ.

Believers refer to this as the rapture and most think the rapture occurs before the Great Tribulation commences. Yippie. My second encounter with Jesus will be different from my first encounter. Jesus and I are going to meet again somewhere in the earth’s atmosphere. In my first encounter I looked up at the clouds. In my second encounter I’ll be transported to the clouds. Best cloudy day ever.

‘According to the Lord’s word,……the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord for ever’ 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18;

‘Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him’. Hebrews 9:24-28.

‘Listen, I tell you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed’ 1 Corinthians 15:51-53;

I’m eagerly awaiting my second encounter with Christ. If you want to step on board and join the flight you can do so. Find out more https://bibleblogger.online/three-steps-to-becoming-a-christian/
